We’re excited to once again have 11 boats on the lake, 6 rowing boats and 5 pedalos with each one allowing up to 4 people. Boating use to be very popular and we are hoping it will be again.

Tickets can be purchased from the Lakeside Hut. The cost is £10 per boat for up to 4 people for 30 minutes, or £14 per boat for up to 4 people for 45 minutes. 

Opening Times

Open at weekends and every day during school holidays*; 

• Monday - Saturday 10.30am until 4pm (last admission). 

• Sunday 12.30pm until 4pm (last admission)

*Subject to weather conditions

Code of Conduct:

• Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult 

• Persons under the influence of drugs / alcohol will not be allowed on the boats 

• No standing in the boats 

• No animals allowed in the boats or to be left unattended 

• Boats must not cross the designated safety lines 

• Please avoid crashing into other boats and the side of the lake 

• Do not disturb the wildlife 

• Act with consideration for other users 

• No swimming in the lake 

• Our staff have the right to refuse or remove participants from the activity if they feel that the code of conduct is not being adhered to 

• Life Jackets must be worn at all times 

• Do not access the boats without staff assistance
